Help a family in distress keep their power on

$50.00

This woman called the Community Resource EnVision Center in a lot of distress. Their power is being shut off on Friday if they do not pay in full. They owe $343.48 and Helping Hands pledged $150, so they still need $193.48. They are a multi-generational family that lives on the same property. It includes this client, her husband, their son, their daughter-in-law, and their 4 grandkids, as well as another lady with 2 kids as well. Her husband is on disability, and she is unable to work due to medical conditions and age. Her son works but has not gotten paid recently enough, and the other lady is having surgery soon, so she is unable to work as well. Everyone has been contributing as much as they can, but they have been overwhelmed by car repair costs, a ticket for still having their studs on, a broken washing machine, and expenses have just been mounting. They just haven't been able to scrape the last bit of money together. She is terrified of losing all the meat in their freezer if the power were shut off.

You can contribute $50 to $200 by changing the quantity.

We are really low on funds right now, so any help is much appreciated!
