This woman is a single mom of two toddlers who is struggling to work enough while also being a mom. She has been doing in-home care, and lives in subsidized housing, but hasn't gotten enough work this last month due to dwindling clientele. Additionally, her options are limited due to the fact that she has a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old that she either needs to pay for childcare or be able to bring her children with her. She is applying at the Kaniksu Kids Club and the YMCA to see if she can work in a day-care setting so she can bring her toddlers with her, but in the meantime she is afraid of losing her affordable housing. She has gotten pledged $150 by a church in the area and is seeking support from Helping Hands next week for another $100, and her remaining rent due would be $125. We would like to have the funds to cover $225, if possible, just in case Helping Hands isn’t able to help.
You can donate $25 - $225 by adjusting the quantity.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide!
