Help an elderly couple keep their home
This person is struggling to pay the rest of her rent due to an expected car repair. Her husband is almost 76, has COPD, and she is his full-time caretaker. They just got approved for SSI, so in the next few months they will start receiving SSI benefits, which will greatly increase their financial stability. Additionally, they also got approved for an Idaho Housing Voucher, which will start applying to their current residence in either January or February, and will cut their rent in half. So, they just need temporary assistance to get by until those kick in. She is really hoping to get it covered by the 5th so the rental agency doesn’t add on late fees. She has called 211 and is waiting to hear back, and also spoke to a church in Priest River and plans to speak to one in Oldtown, but she doesn't know if they have any assistance programs. They have paid half of it, but they still owe $500.
You can donate $50 - $500 by adjusting the quantity.
Thank you so much!!
