Help a woman get into a safe and sober living house

$25.00

This client came into the Community Resource EnVision Center with her peer support specialist to ask for assistance with getting into safe and sober housing through Sweet Magnolia (Freedom House.) She is trying to work through drug court and just lost her job due to a 2 week incarceration. She has $400 to put toward the cost and Helping Hands pledged $100. She is only $100 short of meeting the requirement to be able to get in. She is determined to get another job. She has been putting in applications everywhere and she is working with EQUUS as well. She is currently homeless, staying temporarily with a friend. She has an appointment for approval with Sweet Magnolia's on Sunday and is hopeful that if she has the entire amount available to pay, she will get in. This is her opportunity to start over in a safe and sober living house and get back on the right track. We believe that getting into a stable transitional house will help her have the stability she needs to work toward long-term sobriety and a healthy life.

You can donate $25 - $100 by adjusting the quantity.

Thank you so much!
