This person has lived in our community for 45 years. Her only mode of transportation had a bunch of repairs due all at the same time, and her mechanic minimized the costs to her by repairing multiple things at once instead of having to come in multiple times, which prevented excessive labor costs. She has used this mechanic for a very long time and they're very trustworthy. She works full time at a local restaurant that she's worked at for two years, however, due to the seasonal nature of our community, she has lost a lot of hours due to lack of work. She was intending to start DoorDashing, but then the car broke down. Now she has been borrowing a friend's car and getting rides, but really needs her own transportation in order to continue working. The repairs have been done at Grimm Bros., but she needs to pay the total amount in order to get the car released. She has gone to other local agencies for assistance and is waiting to hear back from Cedar Hills, so we’re hoping to work together to cover the cost for her. The total amount needed is $1,210, but anything helps.
