This woman is struggling due to stalking and abuse. She has been divorced and trying to escape her ex-husband for one and a half years, but he continues to stalk her and create fear in her life. She has lived in North Idaho and the Spokane area since 2010, but she is currently unhoused. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2022, and was unable to work. During treatment, she went through her entire savings, and due to wanting to return to the workforce she did not apply for SSDI. She was cleared to return to work in August 2025, and has been trying to find work, but without housing or a local support system, this has been very difficult for her. Priest River Ministries has sheltered her and has been working with her for a long time. She wants to move back to where she has family and a support system, but she needs help fixing her car so she can get there. It is her only mode of transportation (and currently her home). There are multiple things wrong with it, and the cost of diagnostics to determine the fix will be around $250. If she can get an answer as to whether it is fixable, and if so, what needs to be fixed, her resource specialist can submit a request to other community resources to help with the repair.
