Help a single mom of a young boy keep her housing

A single mom of a young boy is in need of one-time rental assistance. She has lived and worked in this community for years and years, but she lost her job in October, and despite filing for unemployment and looking for work and doing odd jobs in the service industry to make ends meet, she has yet to be able to secure another consistent job. At this point, she has been unable to keep up with all of her expenses because she has fully exhausted her savings trying to get by without relying on community support. She has never asked us for assistance before, and could greatly use the help. She is actively working toward regaining financial stability and employment, but in the interim needs to maintain housing for herself and her young son. She has been referred to other community agencies as well, so we’re hoping we can come together to help her. She is currently overdue on rent and owes $642.
