A single mother of three kids, ages 6-10, needs help with rent. She is the sole provider for her household. She works full-time and often picks up extra shifts to meet basic expenses. On 2/27/2026, she became ill with COVID-19 and cellulitis affecting the entire right side of her face. Due to complications and delays in accessing necessary medications, her recovery has been prolonged and she has been unable to work consistently, receiving only one paycheck in March. As a result, the family is facing significant financial hardship. She is at risk of being unable to pay April rent and has very limited resources for groceries, causing concern about meeting her children’s basic needs. Rental assistance for April is urgently needed to help stabilize the household while she recovers and returns to work. She is seeking help from other community agencies as well, so we’re hoping each agency can cover a portion to meet the full need.
