A gentleman who has been living in his car on and off for the year is desperately needing a diagnosis of the issues that are preventing it from fully functioning, as it is his only means of housing and only means of transportation until he can get into something more sustainable. He states there may be something wrong with the transmission and it has a check engine light on. He needs to know if the problem is worth fixing. One of our local automotive mechanics is able to get him in soon and for a cheaper price than the Ford Dealership he was going to. The estimated cost of the diagnostic is $200. He is struggling just to get by, so any help is greatly appreciated.
