Help a man repair his truck so he can keep working

$25.00

This man is in his forties, married, with one teenage daughter living at home. He is a self-employed handyman who mostly does concrete work. However, with the road limits in place, he can’t haul concrete to job sites, so he switches to doing small handyman jobs which doesn’t pay the bills like bigger jobs do. A year ago he crushed his leg so his wife helped him on his jobs and ended up sawing off two fingers using a table saw. They were both laid up healing and used all the savings they had. They’ve had a hard time catching up since they are both self-employed, which means no sick pay. He feels defeated and just wants to get back to concrete work as soon as load limits get lifted. He is filling in now with odd jobs, but that just barely covers living expenses. In order to keep working, he needs a new starter for his truck, which is $369.94.
