Help a man and his kids from becoming homeless

$50.00

This man works full time, or as much as he can, building custom homes and he has two kids that he has 60% of the time. He loses work sometimes taking his kids to preschool and pickups from daycare, but he is trying to make it work. The problem is, he hurt his back and was out of work for around two weeks recently, which halved his paycheck. He has been getting further and further behind on bills and is scared he's going to lose his housing, and him and his kids are going to be homeless. He has lived in the same apartment for 7 years and his landlord is pretty understanding, but she said today that he needed to pay something. His last paycheck was $1,095, and he said he would deposit the $1,000. He is two months behind on rent. He said he is trying so hard to catch up but the bills just keep mounting. He has been referred to other community partners for assistance, so we’re hoping we can work together to help them.
