Help a homeless elderly woman and her daughter get housing before winter
This woman and her mom were priced out of CDA after living there for 6 years when her job at Chevy took a turn and she wasn't making enough income. They have looked all over to find affordable, senior housing for her mother, and settled on Sandpoint. They need help with a deposit to Samuelson Apartments -- around $1,800. They have accrued a lot of debt trying to live while unemployed and unhoused. They are currently living in their car and are very willing to work. She is experienced, has a degree in marketing, and wants to get into the aeronautical industry. Her mother also has a part time job teaching. They have been referred to the Idaho Department of Labor as well as other local agencies to help them get back on their feet. They are just currently in a sticky spot with not having enough money to actually get into an apartment. We would love to help this woman and her mother get into a safe and warm home before winter.
You can donate $50 - $1,800 by adjusting the amount.
Note: Although the full amount is a lot, in the past we’ve been able to collaborate with other churches and organizations to combine our efforts and reach the full amount, so any donation helps!
