This is a family consisting of a mom, dad & a new son. The baby is 2 months old. Mom & dad are both in recovery. Dad works at a recovery program, helping those who are walking the same path he did. Mom is applying for jobs & attending interviews. She has not yet landed a job, but she remains hopeful. The family is now enrolled in multiple programs that help support the baby's attachment, safety & development. Their efforts are pretty amazing. This family has maintained safe housing, but they are in need of a washer & dryer. Someone in the Mountain States Head Start Program has a dryer they can donate to the family, so we are hoping to find a resource that can help with a washer.
The family’s case manager found a washer at Home Depot for $604.13, but the family is open to any washer if there is a better option or donation available.
