This family has a bathtub that they recently discovered has lead. Their 24-month old child's lead test from his well child exam came back higher than the previous one. They tested some items and discovered the bathtub that the children bathe in has lead. They did research and found a person in CDA that will safely resurface the tub to encapsulate the tub which will remedy the exposure. They have 2 young children in the home. They are a pretty self sufficient family, however, this one time expense is a lot all at once. They would be thankful for any amount that would contribute toward the costs. Mountain States Early Head Start is contributing some and the family is contributing some as well. We are hoping to cover $250, which is about a third of the total cost. Any help is greatly appreciated!
