This family’s 13 year old son broke his leg badly requiring a $50,000 surgery (because the broken bone pushed into the hip area) and a hospital stay. They are applying for Medicaid to cover the hospital bill at Bonner General. Mom, who is a full time CNA at a local retirement home, has had to stay home to be with her son and only received a $20 paycheck this month since she is paid by the hour.
