Help a family recover after their child attempted suicide

$50.00

This family needs assistance with their mortgage. While their income is too high to qualify for typical funding like 211, she had to stop working back in April due to her daughter nearly dying after an attempted suicide, which has caused incredible mental health burdens on the entire family. Since she hasn't been able to work, they have been starting to drown in debt and have had to make choices for what bills to pay first. Now, their mortgage is going to end up being over 30 days due and it's going to begin to impact their credit. They are having to decide between whether to pull money out to buy food, or pay their mortgage. She also just accepted a teaching position, as she believes she is now mentally in a good enough position to return to work, and her daughter is no longer suicidal. However, her first paycheck will not be until October. Their property tax also just increased because being in Cocolalla, their home is now in a hazard fire zone, which made their hazard insurance go up quite a bit. They have set $1,500 aside for their August mortgage, but $2,458 is owed, so they need help covering the remaining $958. They are working with a case manager to connect them with other organizations that may be able to help as well. We’re hoping we can all come together to help this family.

You can donate $50 - $950 by adjusting the amount.

Thank you so much!!
