A father is in the middle of trying to care for his recently disabled wife and his two small children. After a sudden change in life circumstances that left his wife in need of daily care, he has been trying to figure out the system of disability claims, unemployment applications, finding new employment, ICCP for his children, and in home health care for his wife. In the meantime, bills are still coming in and he is trying to keep up. He has secured a new job that starts on the 18th, but he won't be getting any pay until that starts. In order to prevent mounting bills and potential homelessness, his case manager has requested $500 towards his rent. This would be so helpful for their family. He has been working with other local resources as well, so we’re hoping to work together to help this family with another month of rent.
