A single mom of multiple children, one who is medically complex, has been working tirelessly to create stability for her family after leaving an unhealthy situation with her ex. Ever since, she has been battling homelessness. After being removed from a transitional housing program because she didn't find a job fast enough, she finally got a full time job, which has given her a huge step in the direction of becoming self-sustaining. However, she is struggling with several of her children not qualifying for ICCP through Health & Welfare due to complications with getting their birth certificates, which is causing her to pay a lot of expenses out of pocket just so she can continue to work and not lose her job. She is in the process of getting the documentation she needs to qualify for daycare assistance, but it takes time. In the meantime, she has been having to travel to Coeur d’ Alene for shelter because she hasn’t been able to secure stable housing, which has made it so much harder for her to get on her feet and not return to the cycle of abuse she experienced in her previous relationship. She is told an apartment is coming up in a local low-income complex that she qualifies for, and she would appreciate any help financially to get herself secured into it so she can finally have a safe place to raise her children and prevent the cycle of homelessness to continue. Her immediate need is help with the $47.50 application fee. If/when she is approved, she will also need help with the $600 deposit.
You can donate $50 - $650 by adjusting the quantity.
