Help a boy go to Scout camp
This single mother of 6 kids needs help sending her son to Scout camp. The father has addiction problems and is not very involved with the children due to safety issues. She has 3 jobs while still being a very present mom and they all helped build their new home through the Fuller House program in Bonners Ferry. Her 12 year old son is signed up for Scout camp and really needs this week of being around positive adult men. He will be earning Scouting and merit badges at the one week sleepover Scout camp. She owes $343.82 for the camp after a $100.00 deposit was made and now her car is acting up, which has put them in a really tough situation. She canceled the other 4 kids scout camp this year but she felt it was so important for her 12 year old boy to go. Any help towards his camp is so appreciated as she’s not sure how she’ll pay it. This family lives very frugally, with no internet or tv in the home. She runs a small service program in Bonners Ferry, among other work, and even volunteers at local non-profits.
