An elderly woman who is also the caretaker of her disabled (autistic) 17 year old grandson needs a space heater to keep her bathroom pipes from freezing. She receives assistance through CAP for firewood, but it doesn't keep the bathroom from getting bitterly cold. She is on a widow's pension through social security and is on a very limited income. She used to have a space heater (I believe it was an oil heater or radiator) that gave out. She cannot afford a new one. Any medium size space heater to prevent her pipes from freezing would be amazing for her. She isn't picky, she just doesn't want to have her pipes freeze. We estimate the cost to be somewhere between $30 and $100.
