A single mom fleeing domestic violence needs help getting her car fixed

*Update: Unfortunately, the issue was the head gasket, which is an $8,000 repair. Her mom has a car she can use though, it just needs new tires/rims and a new battery. She has been referred to Angels Over Sandpoint for help with the tires, but they may not be able to cover the full amount with the rims. We are hoping to raise another $250 to help cover the cost of the tires and battery so she has a working car.

A single mom of two children, including a baby, has fled a domestic violence situation and she is struggling with expenses due to the situation. Now her car is overheating and she needs to get her coolant system pressure tested so she can find out what the problem is and how much it would cost to fix it. Perfection Tire can get her in tomorrow to get it checked for $65. We’re hoping to cover the cost of the pressure test and potentially a repair, if needed. Without her car, she would be completely stranded.
