A family of four is in desperate need

A family of four is in desperate need of help paying their rent this month. The two young children's mother recently became disabled and now relies on their father to care for her and the two children full time. The father lost his job as he wasn't able to care for his family and work. He has been trying to apply for unemployment, but it has been a long and difficult process. Now they are at risk of being evicted. He has been going to local churches to see if they can help. He has received $550 in pledges so far, but they still need $935 more to avoid becoming homeless. He is in contact with at least two more churches that might be able to contribute as well.
