This client has been out of work for the last two months due to multiple surgeries. She has had surgery every other Friday since December. First the initial surgery, and then surgeries to fix complications. She has struggled with being basically bedridden every other week, and has been unable to work due to this. She does not have any local family. She has custody of her 6 year old grandson, and she has most of her rent money for February, but is behind by $400. She is normally working full-time, as she owns her own cleaning business. She has reached out to Helping Hands Healing Hearts and is waiting to hear back. Due to her surgeries, traveling to fill out benevolence forms from each church and nonprofit in our local area has not been feasible. She is worried she will get a 3 day notice within a day. Her case manager emailed a proof of request for assistance so that she can hopefully receive a grace period from her landlord.
