This client recently fled from an abusive relationship in another state. She has been living with extended family which she is very grateful for. This living arrangement has allowed her to create stability in her life, but she finds it challenging to fully “be herself” and enjoy the little things that bring her pleasure while working and dealing with all the legal and emotional ramifications of her situation. She is left with little energy and would love nothing more than to have a daily cup of quality coffee. Unfortunately, her family does not drink coffee, nor do they have any kind of coffee maker. If there is any way Love in Action can provide our client with a personal mini Keurig or similar coffee maker, it would mean so much to her.
